A full array of golf instruction options is available to members and their families throughout the year. Our teaching staff is available for lessons Tuesday through Sunday each week. Private lessons, group lessons and lessons for junior players are an integral part of the overall golf instruction program at The Windermere Club. The club also schedules several complimentary beginner's golf clinics during the course of the year.

"My core philosophy is to exceed membership expectations and to be friendly and accommodating to everyone.
People may describe me as very driven, yet laid back. I love to play this wonderful game and still enjoy competing in various professional tournaments. Teaching has also been a big part of my golf career. Learning so much from so many talented teaching professionals has expanded my swing knowledge through the years. Watching people become better players and or just enjoying the game gives me great pleasure.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three dogs. We enjoy what Columbia has to offer as well as traveling and spending time with our family and friends.
At the end of the day, my main goal is promoting this great game and making sure every one of our members and their guests have an exceptional, consistent experience at The Windermere Club."
I have taught many golf lessons over the years, and my teaching philosophy is very simple: Set goals with your student, and give "little bits of information" at a time so that he/she can remember and repeat. Too much information at one time can be frustrating for any level of player. As goals are accomplished, the player will not only score better, but they will enjoy the game.
I believe in the human touch and the power of observation. Golf is a game of mimicry, of watching and learning and repeating a motion until you make it work for you.Through basic fundamentals and practice, a golfer will achieve his/her goals.
Golf is a game of a lifetime, and if you are good to the game, then the game will be good to you.
